Otto Township Supervisor’s Meeting Minutes
July 8, 2026
The Otto Township Supervisor’s meeting was held on July 8, 2026, at The Otto Township Office Building. Board members present were Supervisors Gerard Rettger, Dennis Mong, Christopher Kaluza, and Secretary Jeannine Drummond. Visitors in attendance include Tina Crandell, Bill Cochran, John Cradduck, and Colleen Ross.
Christopher Kaluza called the meeting to order at 6:09 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Visitors were welcomed.
The Supervisors went into an Executive Session. After returning Gerard stated they discussed ongoing issues with a suspended Police Officer, and the Township will be following recommendations from the Township Attorney. They also discussed a pay-rate for new Police Officer, Cameron Magee
June meeting minutes were reviewed. Gerard motioned to accept, Dennis 2nd AIF
The treasurer’s report, bills and bank statements were reviewed. Motion Christopher, Gerard 2nd AIF.
Police Report-Cameron Magee has completed the Police Academy and has passed his exam. Cameron will do field training in Smethport.
Park Report- Electric box cover was replaced and the water line to the pavilion has been fixed.
Road Work Report-Working on Kansas Branch Project.
OLD BUSINESS:
Updates Kansas Branch Project-Project is moving along as scheduled.
Clark Street Bridge- No updates.
Updates to Police Dept computers and technology-John will reach out to Nate for updates.
DCED Grant Application for 2026- Jeannie will be submitting the application by the end of the month.
NEW BUSINESS:
Gerard motioned for a pay rate of $23.00 for Cameron Magee, Christoher 2nd AIF.
Christopher motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:36 pm. Dennis 2nd AIF.
