_Otto Township Supervisor’s Meeting Minutes
June 10, 2026
The Otto Township Supervisor’s meeting was held on June 10, 2026, at The Otto Township Office Building. Board members present were Supervisors Gerard Rettger, Dennis Mong, Christopher Kaluza, and Secretary Jeannine Drummond. Visitors in attendance include Tina Crandell, Corey Wilcox, Jeff Duke, Bill Haas, Stacy Claycomb, John Cradduck, and Colleen Ross.
Christopher Kaluza called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Visitors were welcomed. Colleen Ross read a letter pertaining to CDL licensing for Township Employees. See attached letter from Ms. Ross.
Stacy Claycomb, Otto Township Sanitary Chairman, discussed concerns with the Authority being able to pay to move the sanitary line when the Clark Street Bridge construction begins. She felt the Authority should have been more involved at the start of the project. Christopher suggested looking at the County At-Risk Bridge Grant that opens in the Fall.
Corey Wilcox wanted to confirm that Keystone Riders would still be able to use bleachers for the Fundraiser at the Firehall on June 20, 2026. Supervisors have no issue with them using the bleachers.
Jeff Duke And Bill Haas, residents on Main Street, Duke Center are having issues in heavy rain with water in the ditches. Jeff said the sleuth pipe to the end of his field is plugged and needs cleaned out. Bill has water coming into his house.

The treasurer’s report, bills and bank statements were reviewed. Motion Christopher, Dennis 2nd AIF.
Police Report-John Cradduck gave a report on Cameron Magee; he will be graduating from Mercyhurst Police Academy on June 24th and will need to do field training.
Park Report- Electric box cover was replaced and the water line to the pavilion has been fixed.
Road Work Report-Working on Kansas Branch Project.
OLD BUSINESS:
Updates Kansas Branch Project-Road crew has been working on the project.
Parking on Main Street and Grant Street- No new updates
Clark Street Bridge- No updates.
Policy for pre-trip inspections- No new updates
Ordinance for water runoff from driveways has been advertised and is ready to approve. – Gerard motioned to approve, Christopher 2nd, AIF.
Updates to Police Dept computers and technology-Nate is working on passwords. Laptops have been ordered and delivered.
DCED Grant Application for 2026- Jeannie will get with Shawn on the appraisal and information needed to finish application.
NEW BUSINESS:
Otto Township will receive $3531.45 for County Aid for 2026. Christopher motioned to use it for Salt/Sand again this year, Gerard 2nd AIF.
Gerard presented the School MOU for the Otto Police Dept. Gerard motioned to accept Christopher 2nd AIF.
Christopher had a quote to purchase 6 new dumpsters. Price will be $8,680.00. Gerard motioned, Christopher 2nd AIF
Gerard presented a Township Policy to go along with the new Ordinance #78, water run-off on driveways. Gerard motioned to approve, Christopher 2nd AIF.
Jeannine presented the 2025 Haines and Company financial audit for the Township. The Supervisors were presented with the audit in advance to review. Christopher motioned to accept the audit, Dennis 2nd AIF.
Gerard has a quote to replace the siding on the old Police Building on Memorial Drive. The siding blew off in the winter and could possibly be covered by insurance. Quote is $16,000.00. Gerard motioned to send quote to insurance, Christopher 2nd AIF.
Gerard presented an Intergovernmental Agreement with Smethport Borough. The agreement will allow Cameron Magee to do his Police field training at Smethport Borough. Gerard motioned to accept Christopher 2nd AIF.
Christopher motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:06 pm. Gerard 2nd AIF.
