_Otto Township Supervisor’s Meeting Minutes
June 11, 2025
The Otto Township Supervisor’s meeting was held on June 11, 2025, at The Otto Township Office Building. Board members present were Supervisors Gerard Rettger, Dennis Mong and CJ Kaluza, Secretary Jeannine Drummond. Visitors in attendance include Mike Stuck, Carol Stuck, Sharon Schwab, Tina Crandell, Colleen Ross, Earl Strait, Linda Strait, Adeline Angevine, Nancy Mong, Jessica Mong, Denise Cussins, Mel Splain, Mike Miller, and Rachelle Kaluza.
CJ Kaluza called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. with The Pledge of Allegiance.
Visitors were welcomed- A special recognition for 50 years of service as the Judge of Elections was presented to Adeline Angevine of Looker Mt. Trail in Rixford.
May meeting minutes were reviewed. Dennis motioned to accept, Gerard 2nd AIF.
The treasurer’s report, bills and bank statements were reviewed. An issue with the treasurer’s report on the State account from April was noted. Jeannie will check to see what happened. The bank statements are all correct and reconciled.
Park Report- Weed spraying was completed.
Road Work Report- CJ read the road report.
Police Report- None
OLD BUSINESS:
Updates Kansas Branch Project- No new updates.
Berger Hollow Bridge- The supervisors motioned to advertise and get bids for a temporary bridge on Berger Hollow.
NEW BUSINESS:
A resolution for a grant for the Otto Park was approved. Motion CJ, 2nd Gerard, AIF.
The winter maintenance agreement with the state for Sweitzer Drive was approved. Motion CJ, 2nd Dennis, AIF.
DCED Multimodal grant application for Berger Hollow Bridge and Brooklyn St bridge was approved. Motion Dennis, 2nd CJ, AIF.
Gerard presented and highlighted the details of the 2025 McKean County Hazard Mitigation Plan Resolution. Motion to accept CJ, 2nd Dennis, AIF.
Saturday, July 14th at 4 pm the American Legion will hold an event for the retirement of flags. This event will be held across from the Lions Club building in the parking lot at Otto Park.
